Teachers Music
Music creates many memories for people. For Mrs. Lord the song I'm gunna miss her reminds her of her husband and how he would always leave her to go fishing like it says in the song. Also Mrs. Wyric really enjoys listening to classic rock on the radio in the mornings and rocking out to Tom Petty. Even a choir teacher like Mr. Corn though has stories to tell of how music became offensive to society, like Milly Vinnili, Madonna's Like a Virgin, To'Poc, and Ozzie eating bats on stage. Mrs. Wyric was never offended by music but doesn't like New Country like Kenny Chesney. Mrs. A loves Barry Manelo, where Mrs. Stephens thinks of Rick Aslee's Never gunna give you up when it comes to her childhood. Music is a big part of many peoples lives.
When I was younger the music I remember is Dixie Chicks Wide Open Spaces, and Fleetwood Mac, Landslide. I would always love listening to all of my moms old CD's on our sound system where they are blaring through the house and us dancing, or her turning on the radio and Hey Mickey by Toni Basil coming on and us singing all around the house. Music was a huge part of my childhood and has helped me be who I am today. My favorite singer is torn between Switchfoot and Lifehouse, they are both soft rock singers and its easy listening music. I love songs where I can relate to the lyrics and all of their songs I can do that with. Learning to breathe by Switchfoot reminds me of my dad because it is from the movie a walk to remember which was our favorite. I love going to concerts, I am going to see Switchfoot next month, but I usually go see country singers in concert like Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flats, and Miranda Lambert. I will never forget the Carrie Underwood concert for her amazing stand performance.. I listen to todays hits on the radio the most, and yes I sing along to every one. No music is really controversial to me. I like most all types of music and cant think of a artist that I don't like.
