My Future is Bright

When I think about my future, I think about college, having a family and kids. It has always been something in the distant future, but its getting really close now that I think about it. I have one more year of high school and I will be in college. In the presentation we were given Monday by the art institute, it gave me more of a push that I need to find out where I am going in life. I may not want to go to a art institute but it was very interesting seeing how she was explaining how in the college you can do something you have loved all your life and live out your dreams. I loved seeing the video of all the photography the girl had taken representing everything she loved in life. It was really inspiring because you could tell that she really enjoyed what she was doing. I don't have really any questions for the reprehensive at the art institute but to any person that is in college. My question is, Does it go as fast as what these high school years have gone? I feel like my life is flying by before my eyes. Thankfully I know what I want with my life though. I want to go to school to be a nurse aesthesis. Get my BSN at UMKC and graduate with my boyfriend. I want to live in Oregon and have the best job I could ever ask for, and have 3 kids. When I think of my life in 5 years I think of it just starting and that that even in 5 years I will have a lot ahead after that. It is excited to think about. My life will be great if it goes as planned and even if it doesn't because God has a plan and I trust it will be good.

  1. My answer to your question about college flying by is a resounding yes. It seems like we're always reaching for the next big thing and rushing through whatever stage we're in. I wish I had slowed down a bit and savored that time in my life even more. I hope you get everything out of life you're dreaming of, Gabby.
