Child's Play

The most important person in my childhood, was my dad. He would always give the best hugs and be there for me no matter what. Me and my mom are always fighting to this day, so I always stuck closer to my dad. He was someone who as I got older I could relate to more. When it came to sports or school, he always would understand. My mom never played sports so I cant ever relate to her in that aspect and swimming is such a big part of my life. I could always count on a good hug before I went to bed at night from him. He always would say I love you to the moon and back. There are so many endless memories I have with my dad, and I just feel like he took up a big part of my childhood.
When I was in kindergarten, my best friend was Brandon Shaw. I remember when we were friends we would always do the craziest and weirdest things. Life was so easy back when we were little. We would always go and play on the playground after school together and get into some sort of trouble. Our parents were really good friends too, so it was nice the amount of time we got to spend together. As we got older though we grew apart. I remember going into middle school and not even being anything more than acquaintances with each other. We always were really nice to one another, but were not as close because we found our different groups. Then when high school came around I remember sometimes seeing him in the halls and saying hey, but last year I had class with him. It was the funniest thing, because we had it with our other best friend Kaylee from elementary. It was like a blast from the past. I hadn't had a class with him in a long time, and it was good to get to talk to him more. Time makes all of us change though.
