In the movie Dan's oldest daughter reminds me of myself most. She is always trying to keep her father in line like I do my mom. She is somewhat the peace keeper of the family trying to make sure things are happening for the best. Alot of the time though she feels as if her father doesnt want to let her grow up. It seems to her almost as if she is just like her younger sisters always getting treated like a little kid and having fewer opportunities than her friends. I understand this also my mom is the same way. Her worst fear is for something to happen to me so she shelters me and trys to protect me by not allowing me to do some of the normal things that other teenagers do. She has got alot better now though. Since we have started to look at colleges, she is starting to realize that I am growing up and she has to let me go at some point. It really is hard for single parents because their kids are all they have.
I am not really a big believer in love at first sight or falling in love in a short amount of time. It may be true that it can happen but for me no. I am definally one of those people who waits a long time to tell someone that I love them. The guy I have been with for almost 6 months I havent even told you I love you too. I mean no he may be away alot of the time, but still I'm not going to tell him I love him unless I truely mean it. I love you is not something I take lightly. It is 3 words that mean alot and can change alot in a relationship. It takes time to develop feelings that can equal up to those few words. I am one of those "jerks" I guess who wont say I love you back unless I really do. I mean I've had guys tell me they love me, but I know they were just saying that, so I either tell them, no you dont, or well thanks. I wont say it back. It may sound cold hearted, but I feel its more fair for me to be honest with him than not and to just say the words back when they dont mean anything.
My favorite movie is A Walk To Remember by Nicolas Sparks. Me and my dad watched it as I grew up and I felt that it was the best love story of all time. The way they grew up together going to the same schools went to church together but came from complete different sides of the tracks. They learned though that what you dont understand is not always bad. Landon was a rebelious teenager growing up from a rough family of drinkers who's dad had left when he was younger. Jamie is a good pasters daughter who has been raised by her father after her mother died. She was very smart and tutored and was involved in the plays at school. Landon gets himself into trouble with some kids at school and he dares a kid to jump off a ledge into a river that suprisingly wasnt that deep. The kid ends up getting badly injured and Landon gets the blame. He has to do community service through the school which consist of a school play and tutoring. That means he has to spend some time with Jamie. When he starts to struggle with his lines in the play he goes to Jamie for help and she gives it to him. Landon though started to treat her badly infront of his friends so she doesnt put up with it and he soon realizes he made a mistake. She told him not to fall in love with him but he thought it was a joke at the time. He slowly starts falling for her and helping her finish this mysterious bucket list she has made. When Landon's friends start making fun of her he finally stands up to them. The reason though that Jamie has a bucket list is she has Lukemia and only has so long to live. Landon takes the news badly and tries to get people to cure her, but they cant. So he helps her finish everything on the list including her number one getting married in the church her parents did.

Food Memory
In the typical family, Thanksgiving is always at a certain place at a certain time. Everyone brings a certain dish and the whole family gets to spend time together and look back on memories from previous years. Well as I grew up we never really had a set place to go. I never was to close to my family as a child, and my parents tried to keep me away from their negativity which they seemed to bring upon people. So many years it would just be me my mom and dad. My dad would make the dressing and the turkey and my mom would make all the sides, like the green bean casserole and sweet potatoes. But even as a little kid there is one job I had. We would always make our runs to the grocery store before we would cook that day, and my job was to get the rolls, and keep in mind this my favorite part of the whole dinner. I always was a carb girl, whether it was fresh bread or potato chips I still to this day will take carbs over sugar. We always would go to the same Price Cutter where in their bakery we could always count on the fresh baked rolls. They are sweet and flaky. They are perfect to put leftover turkey or ham on after thanksgiving if there are even any left.after my dad died we would go over to my friends for dinner, and they still would put us in charge for the bread. The tradition still hasent changed. Even though I may not have a huge tradition I still love the little things me and my mom always do together. Still to this day on thanksgiving we go to the same price cutter and get the same rolls. They are my favorite part of thanksgiving.
This is
This is it my life
The sweet smell of chlorine in the morning
Cold rush of adrinaline through my veins
Everything about it makes my life enjoyable
I find meaning
I feel comfort and peacefulness
Making myself get up early
Working hard and feeling the aches and pains
It is all worth it
Something I'm good at
Able to teach
The many years spent only can pay off in the future
Feeling the excitment in kids
Regressing to when I first learned
Everything was so much fun
It is different than anything else
It doesnt get worse as you get older but only better
You learn to live with the drama
I push forward to be a better me
I build strength
This is a huge part of who I am

Looking out into the waves,
Everything is perfect the waves crashing in
Our problems just fading into the water and being carried away
Life could not being any more amazing as it was in this moment
I can sit and watch the waves for hours just thinking
He was perfect everything I had always wished for
The passion for life and what we had ahead of us
Life was simple living day by day
Our relationship was envious
We grew up together best friends
No secrets or regrets
Just that swing from years ago him pushing me for hours
Sleeping on the sand
Waking up in the morning to the sunrise
Seeing that one person you always wanted to be with
Living in the moment
Things falling in place
The morning before our wedding looking out into the waves
Seeing the memories
Feeling the love and remembering our passion
It was going to be forever
His soft I love you
To his gentle touch
Remembering the graduation day walking beside each other
Yet again we walk but this time just the two of us
Love
It is a feeling
Yet not all people believe in it, it exist
It is when you hold their hand and get chills
The first kiss and butterflies
When you stop searching because you know there is no one better
From the first glance to the moment at the alter
I cannot yet wait to recite these words
From now until death do us part
I will always love him
Childeren's Story
Once upon a time, there lived a Dolphin, and her name was Flippers. Flippers was a very sweet Dolphin who had many friends all over the sea, from little fish to big fish, from crabs to seahorse. She got along with everyone. Her very best friend though was Dory who also was a dolphin. He was very fun and she had know him from the time they were little. They went to school together for years. There was a lot of fun memories they had, but it was hard as they got older with the teasing of how they loved each other and that it was weird that a boy and girl would be best friends that it started to break them apart. One day though they were swimming home from school, and they passed by the sharks. The sharks are the bullies at school who always made fun of every one. As they started to pass by Zach one of the sharks yells,
"Oh look its the couple of the day how about you guys just get married all ready we all are tired of you guys playing like you are just friends."
Then Jake the other shark said,
"You know they might not actually be in love I always thought Flippers was just weird, because she always hung out with the guys."
Dory and Flippers try to ignore them and swim off. But Dory looks at Flippers after they got a little way down the current.
" Aren't you tired of the mean remarks they make Flippers? Its time we say something." Dory said.
" I'm afraid to say something that they will just be more mean." said Flippers.
" We need to get over our fear and stand up to them, not just for us, but for all the other people they are mean too."
They turn around and start swimming back to the sharks. When we started to approach they started laughing again.
" You guys are bullies, and just because Flippers has more friends than you doesn't give you a good reason to be mean to her. No one likes you guys because you are so mean to the rest of us. You guys would be our friends if you were not so mean to everyone including us. You just need to stop being mean to all of us." said Dory.
The sharks were stunned that Dory said something. They apologized to our surprise and tried to be a lot nicer to everyone after that. Dory didn't give up. No matter how scared you may be you have to stand up for what you believe in and things really can change.

Child's Play
The most important person in my childhood, was my dad. He would always give the best hugs and be there for me no matter what. Me and my mom are always fighting to this day, so I always stuck closer to my dad. He was someone who as I got older I could relate to more. When it came to sports or school, he always would understand. My mom never played sports so I cant ever relate to her in that aspect and swimming is such a big part of my life. I could always count on a good hug before I went to bed at night from him. He always would say I love you to the moon and back. There are so many endless memories I have with my dad, and I just feel like he took up a big part of my childhood.
When I was in kindergarten, my best friend was Brandon Shaw. I remember when we were friends we would always do the craziest and weirdest things. Life was so easy back when we were little. We would always go and play on the playground after school together and get into some sort of trouble. Our parents were really good friends too, so it was nice the amount of time we got to spend together. As we got older though we grew apart. I remember going into middle school and not even being anything more than acquaintances with each other. We always were really nice to one another, but were not as close because we found our different groups. Then when high school came around I remember sometimes seeing him in the halls and saying hey, but last year I had class with him. It was the funniest thing, because we had it with our other best friend Kaylee from elementary. It was like a blast from the past. I hadn't had a class with him in a long time, and it was good to get to talk to him more. Time makes all of us change though.

Halloween Spirits
The best costume I ever wore was of my smarty pants costume. It was very creative by my mom. I am not the kind of person who likes dressing up much for Halloween because it gets so uncomfortable, but with this costume I could just wear jeans and tape them onto my pants. It was awesome.
My favorite Halloween was the year when me and my friend dressed up and went trick or treating in her neighbor hood. She lives in a really nice area and one of the places gave us the big Hersey candy bars. We also got to hang out with her brother and his friends and ran around outside playing hide and go seek. It was a really fun time.
As I reached into the bag of candy I thought I heard a voice saying "Pick me, pick me." My favorite candy by far for Halloween is recess peanut butter cups. But it always seems that I get so many suckers. I never was a kid that really liked hard candy because it would give me headaches. Somehow though those little candies would want me to eat them so bad they appeared in every corner of my bag.
As I was putting my costume on I heard something move in my closet. It seems as if when your ready to get scared everything starts to become more than what it is. I as a nervous child was one of those who freaked out at every move. I still to this day cannot go in haunted corn mazes. I got so scared the first time I went that I jumped on my friends boyfriends back. I made him carry me the way out. She wasn't mad at me, because she knew I was just really scared. I also get scared by scary stories. I am just a little scaredy cat.
To make a great Halloween costume, you have to be creative and willing to use all the things in your house. I hate costumes that I see people go and buy, because there is no creativity in that. Usually the people who have the most fun costumes made in themselves, and people usually notice them quicker. One thing you can do is take a cardboard box and cut two holes in the bottom big enough for your legs to fit in, and take and use duck tape as suspenders to keep it up. Then attach balloons to yourself coming out of the card board box, and you will be a hot air balloon. It was so cute when I saw it, and so creative. I loved it.
Halloween costumes that I have had in the past years are, Dorothy from the wizard of Oz, Smarty Pants, Witch, Nun, Bubble Bee, Cinderella, and many more that I cant remember. I was never a girly girl growing up so it was really hard for my mom to get me in those costumes. I would never wear things on my head either so for all of my costumes she had to make sure I wouldn't have to have something on my head.
