Another Place, Another Time

The world is large, full of huge places to adventure. I feel God made the world so large and vast not to just give us many places to go, but to give us a since of not knowing. He didn't want us all in the same world to know the same things, live the life the same, and see the same things. He wanted all of us to be diverse and unique. I feel though as if he makes a place for all of us that he want us to end up. A place where life is easy and everything falls together. The really remember able part though is the journey you take trying to find it.
My friend Brandon has lived in the same town all his life. He never went on many vacations as a child and now is graduating high school and wants to travel. He says he wants life to be adventurous and that he fells his life has always been boring just living by the status quo. I told him I understood, and to go where he has always wanted to go most and to travel from there. He said okay and took the first flight to New York the next morning. HIs grandfather had left him money when her died a few years ago, and had told him to go and adventure live and explore all different places to help him find his true self. He took the flight to New York and I told him to send me pictures and cards so I could see how much fun he was having. He did I got pictures from everywhere, Germany, Britain, Spain Italy, Russia, Ireland, even Australia. Every time he sent a picture and I saw his big smile I knew he was enjoying life and learning a lot about himself. My favorite picture was of him in California, him on the beach with the sunset. He looked so happy and he put a caption "This is where I belong." Then I knew God put him there for a reason just like I said and I knew that things would work out for him. After him seeing California he bought a house with the leftover money from his grandfather. He decided to go to school, because he started to really love architecture from the numerous places and wanted to become a interior designer. He still sends me cards and we talk all the time, now its just my turn to find out where I belong.
Brandon has found himself and has set out to live the life he has always dreamed of. Not everyone in this world has done that, some people have jobs they hate. Some people just do things for money or for their family. People live life the way they feel is right, but it isnt always. I encourage anyone to be like my friend Brandon and set out for your dreams, because you will be very happy. For him, “If there was an answer he would find it there.”

Newspaper Creates Dreams

As I was reading through and skimming the newspaper, there are many articles that have to do with your future. My favorite part to look in is the houses for sale. I love seeing all the houses and seeing how big and small they are and just imagining what life would be like living within those walls. When I look at a house I always picture a family that lives inside, and imagine their life. I found one home yesterday that was goregous, based right out of one of the nicest neighboorhoods in the town, and had white window frames and brown brick. It was modern and nice. I imagined my life living inside it as oragnised, everything being run neatly and my life in order. I would have a husband be working as a nurse anethesis and him being a insurance sales man. Us having 3 kids 2 boys one older and one younger and a little girl in the middle. I imagined the kitchen being big and all the kids rooms being painted and titty. It's amazing how a little newspaper clipping of a house can spark many hopes and dreams for my future.

Famous Lines from Famous Books

"In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since." This is a famous first line in the book, The Great Gatsby. This book was published in the year 1925 and was writen by F. Scott Fitzgerald who lived from 1896-1940. He was the author of The Side of Paradise, and The Beautiful Damned also. This book is about these people living in a fictional town called West Egg, and how a mysterious millionare, Jay Gatsby, and Daisy Buchanan have a love affair. Daisy had feel in love with Jay when she was younger, but he was poor growing up. Daisy had to much of a love for money, that when she meet who know is her husband she left Jay for him. Jay comes back to West Egg when he gets older and has lots of money. It is a mystery to find out how he got all his money, but Daisy starts to fall in love with him again and has a love affair. This novel is very well known and popular, and from the information I found I would love to read it. "After a while I went out and left the hospital and walked back to the hotel in the rain." This famous last line comes from the book A Farewell to Arms. It was published in the year 1927 and writen by Ernest Hemingway. Enest lived from 1899-1961, and is also known for his books, For Whom the Bell Tolls, and The Old Man and the Sea. This book is set in the World War 1 era. The author had just got out of World War 1 so he decided to write a book about it. The book is a love story between two people, American Henery, and Cathrine Barkly. It is a love story that helps explain the hardships the war put people through. I would also love to read this book becuase it is well known and has a intersting plot to a love story.

Nightmares

To close my eyes is often a fear of mine. I have had so many awful nightmares in my life that I have had to learn to relax and go to sleep. For the longest time I would have a reoccurring dream that was terrifying. I am usually someone who doesn't get scared much, I can watch scary movies but this dream seems so real. The dream has gone on for years, but I never know when it will happen. It starts off with me laying in my bed like what I was before I feel asleep. I get weaken up by a loud sound of a window breaking. I jump up and run into my moms room but the moment I get to the hallway it is to late. I see the intruder in one eye and my mom in the other. I look at the intruder with his gun pointing at me. He says "If you take one more step I will shoot." I look at him and say, "What do you want?" He replies with a soft tone, "YOU!" I looked at my mom and she is about to jump in front of me. I look at him and say, " What do you want to do with me?" He said, " You are very pretty and I want to use you like I did the last 3, don't worry it will only be for a few hours then everything will be over." I asked "What do you mean over?" He said "Oh just the drugs they will wear off you wont remember anything and we will make sure you wont remember far any after that either." I look at him and say, "I'd rather die." he said, "Well would you like your mom to die?" I cower down and said,"No I will do anything so my mom wont get hurt." He smiles takes my hand and before I know my mom jumps on his back and I hear a gun fire. I look around and see my mom on the ground. I grabbed a picture frame off the wall and smash the corner into his head. He passes out I take him and drag him into the front yard as I call 911. I go back inside and look at my mom and try to wake her, she wont. That's when I wake up.  This is the worst dream I have, and every time wake up crying. I don't know what I would do if that actually happened in real life and am relived that it is a dream every time I wake up.

Dream Thread

Next thing I know the speedometer inches forward and the speed increases. I never knew it could happen to me. She said she hadn't been drinking, and seemed fine. We were going 65,70,75 now 90 down a old road in the middle of nowhere. "Megan slow down!" I yelled. No response. I look at her she seemed almost emotionless, I taped her to get her attention. " What we are just having fun..." she said. "You are going 90 on a road in the middle of nowhere slow down!!!" I yelled again. "FINE!" she screamed. She slammed on the breaks and before I new I felt the car start to flip, the back came up and flipped over the top, I ducked down into a ball. I felt the car start to slide once it flipped. I was in a ball in the what now is top of the car but use to be the bottom. I felt a searing pain in my leg, I think it is broke. I started to look around to see if there is a way out. I see that there is a tiny opening between the front seats and back window that I might be able to get through. I look over Megan is like a mannequin motionless. I have to hurry to get to her. I find myself over thinking everything I do because the sight of seeing my best friend like that made me panic. I started to ease my way out into the small space. I got all the way through. The back window thankfully is almost all the way broken out. I take the ice chipper I see in the backseat and slam it into the already shattered part. Shreds go flying. I move quickly through the window. I get out and I see we are still in the middle of the highway. I look around no one is coming. I am limping with one leg, but I try my hardest to move the car to the side of the road. Then I go over to the drivers door. I take a deep breath. I look at the door and try to open it, it is prided shut. I look at the front dash and see that the window is broken but I don't know how to get Megan out. I knew I should call 911 but my phone got broke to so until someone finds us I have to try to get her out. I go back through the back of the car, I see Megan is stuck between the steering wheel and the seat I notice she has a pocket knife. I think maybe I can try to pry the door open, because once its open I can try to slide her out that way. I grabbed the knife and I started to pry. I got it all the way around and with all my might I swung the door open. There she was I have to move fast she is bleeding bad from her leg. She of course is upside down because the car flipped, so I start to try to un buckle her seat belt. It is stuck, so I used the knife to cut it. Thankfully once I got the seat belt she eased out. I grabbed her and pulled her into the grass near us so we were off the road. I checked for breathing and a pulse. She had both thankfully. I looked all over for glass cuts and she only had minor. She I could tell did have a broken leg, but she must of got knocked out by the impact of the steering wheel. I searched for her phone and thankfully I found it. I quickly called 911 they arrived at the accident and took Megan and I too the hospital they contacted my mom also. I kept living that moment over and over, the moment the car flipped I wasn't able to control it. Don't drink and drive. It was a dream for me but a reality for some.

Blue

Sitting by the ocean watching the deep translantic blue roll in waves.
Capri Grotto is the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
Vacation seaside brings joy.
Imagining the birds eye view from across the sensational waves.
When the tidewater starts to get high the hue become more extravagant.
The ocean is like natures cool water pond that stretches over the world for everyone to see.
The icy peppermint vinca blowing in the wind, and bringing the color blue to life.
The Orange Door

Every house has a story. A lot of times you judge a persons character by the things they own, or the house they have. Truly we cannot do that, because even what seems to be the most perfect house doesn't always have a perfect family living inside. This orange door belongs to the White family. The house is located off of Broadway Street. The house is actually a very nice apartment in the middle of New York. The house everyone admires, and knows who the owner is. The White's are a very wealthy family, the dad is a very successful business man for his insurance company and is the president. The mom is a hard working lawyer. They have 2 kids a boy and a girl. The boy is 19 and is going to school to become a neurologist, whereas there 17 year old daughter doesn't have many of the same goals. She has never been given much attention and now feels like she has to get it in any way possible. She got busted for drugs at school once and they put her in the alternative school. She started to hang out with the wrong croud of people and then got a boyfriend. Little did her parents know about her new friends and boyfriend before she became pregnant. The whole family has had to deal with it and tries to figure out what they have done wrong. This story goes to show that just because someone may have money or a luxurious lifestyle doesn't mean there life is all that great because when you are neglected of attention as a child you thrive for any type you can get when you get older. The pretty door and pretty family behind it actually is struggling with the crazy life situations which you would of never guessed, because who would of thought such a beautiful home could have so many problems within it.
